TEC, §28.0256(f) requires Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ»ÆƬ to establish an advisory committee to assist the agency in adopting rules to implement the new requirement that students complete and submit a financial aid application or an opt-out form as a requirement for graduation. The advisory committee must be composed of
- school counselors
- school administrators; and
- stakeholders to represent the needs of interested students.
Tentative Date
The committee members will be announced in January 2020 and meetings are expected to begin in February 2020
