Commissioner Morath convened the Reading Advisory Committee in accordance with House Bill 3 to advise the agency with current plans that support reading (TEC Sec. 28.062(d)). The composition of the Reading Advisory Board includes a diverse group of individuals from across Texas with a range of specialty areas related to literacy/biliteracy and expertise in teaching, educational leadership, and research.
